INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to three scenes that they believe are related in regards to reported shootings Wednesday.
IMPD said officers responded to 1300 N. Oxford Street and the area of 16th and Rural for reports of people shot around 11 p.m. The body of an adult male gunshot wound victim was found behind a residence near the Oxford Street location.
Another male victim was found a few blocks away from 16th and Rural at 10th and Rural. He was transported to the hospital in a stable condition.
Police are also investigating a walk-in patient to Community East Hospital who was shot that came in around the same time of the other two shooting calls. That person was last reported to be stable.
All three victims are adult males.
So far, no suspect information has been shared. Police are actively investigating all three incidents.
