He hit several officers, with his car. And sadly, once an officer has died.

The man reportedly exited his car and pulled a large “machete” knife on the cops.
Fox is told Capitol Suspect had large knife. Something between a kitchen knife and a machete. Charged at officers. Was then shot

At that point, he was shot and killed.
Immediately, the National Guard troops took to the streets en masse.
