Video shows Kokomo police arrest man after motorcycle pursuit

KOKOMO, Ind. — The Kokomo Police Department (KPD) made an arrest Sunday following the pursuit of a motorcyclist.

According to KPD, around 11:15 p.m. Sunday, officers became involved in a pursuit of a speeding motorcycle with no plates.

Police said the pursuit ended in the 5200 block of Council Ring Blvd. when the driver of the motorcycle lost control.

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Larry R. Jones, 30, and was arrested. 

Jones was injured due to a police dog bite from a Howard County Sheriff Department K-9, according to KPD.

He was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released. Jones was then taken to the Howard County Justice Center.
